Need Tech Support?
We're here to help.
Let me admit something.
I spend around 10 hours a day using AI.
Not ChatGPT; I deleted my account.
Not Claude; its too expensive.
Sometimes Gemini; its great for troubleshooting.
Mostly OpenCode, a free tool running in my coding terminal.
It’s a “command-line interface” and coding agent I use to write and modify code directly on my computers; it looks like the Matrix.
In the past, I used AI tools for image generation and simple copy editing.
Today, I use AI models for everything from deep research to business model design, from technical architecture to full-stack app building.
The generalized term for this work is “vibe coding,” which tends to be used in a disparaging way, given the novice experience of first-time programmers entering the software development industry with nothing more than an idea—a prompt.
Applications like Facebook and YouTube, previously requiring senior-level engineers, can now be built by a single non-technical person vibing through the weekend.
It’s become exponentially easier for more people to build cool things.
At the same time, it’s more important than ever to build things that people actually want to buy.
New solutions to old problems still require the hard work of implementing cybersecurity, maintenance, support, testing, and much more.
This tends to get lost as AI convinces us that all of our ideas are possible, and all that it’s created is perfect.
I enjoy working with AI tools, because they help me make complex ideas real, and they do it fast.
But, as I’ve journeyed further into the technical weeds, I’ve uncovered the vast array of key considerations crucial to developing sustainable solutions that create real value for others.
That’s why our business exists.
If you’re in need of AI support, or want to explore the untapped technical opportunities in your organization, Bison Venture Partners is here to help.
